I do not believe that it is possible to do a multiple person chat unless you have powers that we mere mortals lack.
You can create a private channel and invite (and kick) who ever you want.
You can even set moderators for the channel that can invite others, and you can change ownership of the channel, even have more than 1 owner (who can promote to moderator and owner).
