My suggestion: When you master some areas dig, permanent terrain specialisation on prospections for that area. Only for prospection tho. I wouldnt apply this to extraction.
There's roleplay reason too: You have mastered the terrain, you have the terrain specialisation in you now.
Selfish reason: It's pain to remember to change it (-550 focus and "cant use this terrain spez here") and I would get a reason to go over level 240 in other regions =)
