Choice suffers from weather problems if it shares a spot with another excellent, on surface. It's a known bug.
Not a bug. Choice variant is listed on the same deposit as excellent is. If the deposit would contain basic or fine variants, then those too would be weathered.
In PR there is three separate deposits for each grade. If the deposits are located on same spot, then deposits overlap.
