In my opinion these are the things you can possibly do in Ryzom:
- You can create a guild that is so powerful that you can own all Outposts, in effect you can either discontinued all production of op mats or op mats will be just for your guild. With this, the world in Ryzom will become: your guild against the whole community who does pvp.
- Can make a powerful mercenary type of guild that will do mercenary work like: can be hired if the price is right in an op war. So powerful that the balance of factions will change when this guild will take side. In effect this guild control Ryzom op mats.
- You can create a group or a bandit type guild solely for hunting toons in a pvp area. This group can ask anyone who enters in pvp areas to pay or be killed. In effect this group will be hated to those who will venture in pvp areas and the pvp areas will become bandits ground.
- You can assemble a guild where your main objective is the super nodes. Kill everyone during season change and get all the the supreme mats. In effect you control all SN supremes.
- You can create a powerful guild for hunting tagged toons. With this your guild will become the target of those who will do pvp.
- A powerful guild can be created to farm Kitin Larva in effect they control this unique and very rare mats which will enable their guild to control the balance of faction in Ryzom.
- You can create also a guild who will help new toons in main land in effect this guild will be known for its neutrality.
- Can create a guild solely for crafting and selling good stuff in merchant or can create a trade center.
- Can make a group of toons for spying other factions and trade valuable information for a price.
I consider the above examples as dynamic nothing is permanent but always changing.
I think you can do a lot of things within the parameters of the game just be creative and be firm with your goal.
