Having completed my training at Silan, there are a few things I wanted to write about. Maybe they'll be useful for people like me in the future!
Sometimes I wanted to look back at some of the explanation the trainers gave after I'd clicked past it. Here's that text:
* Text from Silan Training Missions
I wanted to feel well-prepared to explore the resources of Atys for digging and crafting by the time I left Silan. One thing I had particular trouble with was understanding how deposit tracking works. I think I understand it better now, thanks to some kind people in the Universe channel who helped explain it to me. I wrote a guide that's meant not to include spoilers and could potentially be used alongside the Silan training mission The Art of Harvesting #4.
* Deposit Tracking Demystified (at least a little bit)
I originally wanted to publish a map of the resource spots I found on Silan. There are a lot of resources, and a lot of different kinds, more than I thought were there at first! However, on reflection, I don't think I would have done all that exploration if someone else had already published a thorough map. And it was a lot of fun to explore! So in the end, I'll leave the island as an only partially charted world of resources to discover, as it was for me.
