Remove Silan from game

Never ever remove Silan. There already has been said enough about it I guess.

One point I'd like to add about the three newer factions:

Trytonists are not even yet implemented, so no need to complain they're not mentioned on Silan. Wouldn't do any good to advertise them only for new players to discover they're not there. We already have this kind of trouble with a few other smaller things (e.g. goo missions on mainland)

Rangers are mentioned in the way Bitty already wrote. However, they, too are not yet  fully implemented. You can roleplay a ranger well. There are ranger events and there's the missions to "find your way around Atys using secret passages" (=the ranger teleportation system). But TP'ing into a 250er region isn't exactly what a noob will be excited about I'd presume. Especially because you first have to walk there.

And Marauders? They're playable, they're implemented to some extend (yeah, please no flame wars here about what's missing), but they are end content.

If(!) a noob is really interested in any of those, she can still play it but will need a group of higher level players to team up with. If there's a strong will, there's a way, as the saying goes. But we really don't need to explain everything on Silan.

Silan is for people who start the game the first time to explain how to use the interface and how the basics of the game's mechanics work. You cannot expect new players to do their first login, then sit there and wait until an experienced player explains the interface to them.

Really, some want the Steam community to move over, and some want to remove Silan. I can only scratch my head about those two contradictory goals.
