you didn't fix anything. You've chosen the easy way cos you didn't understand the structure that has been put in place by the developers back in the days. 275 cap made perfect sense as you could cap 4 resists and 1 protection at all times standing in all domains. The trick was to craft 2 extra jewels and swap them for 2 of the 5 domains of your choice. The +10 acid,cold and rot and the +20 racial was also there for a purpose. the protection you need to max out is the racial one. you didn't need to change the cap, it was the resist factor that had to be fixed.
