Find yourself a sugarmommy to get gear and lend dappers off, works perfect for me.
But like naema said:
1. You can do occupations just grade1 and grade2 from the basic occupations is what you need (feel free to ask around how they work and I'm sure your guild does aswell)
2. Don't buy stuff in stores (ppl like bina should be baned for life for attracting young homins to use their dappers in shops), best gear you can find and most guilds will help any guildy free of charge with some great gear.
3. If you like to dig and craft then craft missions can also make you alot of money (but I'm not the person to help with that)
4. Same for dappers if you are short on them most guilds will help you out with an appartement and packers if they are able to (in times of war they might be short on cash)
5. If all fails sit at the stables and beg
