for the horaders i agree, but my alt's are a stop gap for items and keepsakes i have, not mats (while i'm not a mat collector, i'm sure there are some out there) but i've also seen people that started on the no side come to the yes side, because as these items we want to save for purely sentimental reasons grow in number, our storage of other items we use (or collect for later use) grows smaller. (later use implies armors, jewels, weapons, picks, crafting tools, cat's saved for new f2p players, egg's, ect)
i see reasons to have more need for good valid reasons, after all merchants are a storage system of sorts, why not just allow that to be used for serious selling, and cure the storage issue with more room for stuff in apt's and gh's? (most of that stuff is for craft grinds, which is of little long term value beyond craft xp)
