Great idea - but if this is implemented, we also must have filters in the shops to filter out wearlevels.
For example in addition to the type, quality, and price filters we'd need a fourth one where we could choose between "brand new", "20% worn", "40% worn", "60% worn", "80% worn", and "almost broken".
One thing to consider is the attitude of some to use the traders as storage barns. If we allow the sale of used items, then used armour can be stored with a trader, selecting a 9999% overprice as homins often do. One would not do that for the ultimate special gear, but for regular armour, I suppose. This would abuse the traders even more.
Maybe we then need to enforce tight limits of how many goods can be put up for sale at any one time? Maybe used stuff that is traded, will additionally loose some HP while being at the trader just because people try it on, etc? New items would always remain new. Traders treat them with special care.
