I would also note that anyone who is not a Marauder can get to Almati wood via the Kami and Karavan "outposts" near the capital cities, so taking of an occupation is not actually required.
As for the Ranger village, it would be nice, but we (well, "we" when the faction is completely introduced) really don't need it due to fame in all races. If the devs can do that, they can fix up the Marauder village instead.
