I agree that camping is hardly eradicatible as it is hard to tell the guilty from the innocent, the solo trekker having a rest from the camping alt. And as especially the villains will be trained in excuses, any enforcement is prone to hurt the innocent more. This is probably the main reason why ban on camping has been lifted.
In fact, no increase of camping could be corroborated by independent observation. The lion's share of boss fights is carried out by guilds who do not camp.

Would not work. Mind that it does not need more than 3 or 4 players to kill even the hardest bosses. So this would only mean that larger guilds would mix their teams differently. And it would badly limit those who could only play on weekends and are used to intense boss patrolling and fighting at that time.

If changing anything, I would favor Casy's proposal:



That would leave interesting mobs to attack and at last get more choice animal mat allowing more flexible recipes, and even out chances to spot a boss. The only disadvantage would be that lower levels were finally out of the game, with the advantage that camping were not possible anymore.

In the old times of Leanon, everybody who spot a boss was entitled to gather a team, no matter which level, and any harassment of boss teams was strictly forbidden, even in PvP zones. Camping, which was banned as well, occurred, sure, but not a significant level, as there were more eyes looking out for bosses. Me, I have stopped looking for bosses altogether, nowadays, and the reason are not campers.
