Yes, indeed we have this complicated situation, and we all should be reluctant to use controversial parts of that conflicting history against homins from different traditions. Fyranna should indeed consider that. Distorting Leanon history is not helpful anyway.
The assertion that Sharümal Lykos was suspected to poison his father cannot be further from truth than anything else. Nobody in the desert, the lakes, or the theocracy ever uttered such suspicion. Possibly some Matis extremists were spreading that rumour in an attempt to slander the imperial family. In fact, on Leanon it was proven later that extremists from the Matis high nobility had started terrorist attacks in both Yrkanis and Pyr in order to stir up unrest and to provoque a war. And there was a stupid fanatic ex-soldier from my desert homeland who indeed started a military provocation with a band of armed drunkards at that time, a provocation Karan Yrkanis wisely stopped without bloodshed.
