I don't see one on my Linux install, either.Karu (atys)Casy (atys)max scale of map is set from map.xml file. currently its 2x the size of map image. You can change the value there or change the size of map image.I would like to be able to zoom in closer, and it doesn't bother me that it will look blurred or pixelated. x2 or x4 would be ideal. It shouldn't be much of a programming task either.

I've checked the directories and there is no file by that name in my install. (Win7-64, 32-bit programs)

I'm not sure what you mean by "activate". I agree it would be helpful for flags outside your area (Maiden Grove, not Witherings) to be missing from the compass right-click menu until you enter that area. However, it's helpful to be able to see flags from outside that area (and outside Why dont we have the flags activate once you are in that area.
this will make the list shorter and easier to find you flags~
