So people opposed can't respond, huh? What if this actually is a bad idea? Or if there are negatives that need to be worked out?
- This *could* be used as a personal thing, rather than communal. Before the merge, I created a guild just so my unguilded alts could have a logo and silly guild name. With infinite GH space, I could have easily used it as a second, infinitely large, apt.
- There *is* something in real life that's needed to hold items in GH: disk space on the server. The names and properties of items need to be stored in databases (or however it's done for this game). Infinitely large GHs could potentially take up an infinitely large amount of space on the server. Of course, people won't put that many items in their GH, but larger databases still take longer to access (which means longer load times to open the GH inventory).
