Actually this is one of two translator projects. This one only helps you to read foreign language chat but there is no restriction on it's use (meaning it does not interact with the game client other than monitoring the chatlog file that is meant to be read by the user).
I will post additional info when the app is completed. Imo it is pointless to release it now because without the volunteer work i requested all but the english client would produce a VERY messy chat output.... Maybe even google will ban the app if it continously translates combat sysinfo for several players (that's what the volunteer work is about).
The final app will be easy to use (i.e. the only config options will be language and the path to your chatlog file).
By the way... anyone familiar with the process of using mono to compile .NET apps for linux?
