I have made an package for the arch linux distro
It uses the Offical Client, Build with the source from ryzom_client.7z and has been updated with rsync before it has been packed, it does not need to connect to rsync each time you startup ryzom. It has been tested for 32bits and 64bits with multiarch support, under GNOME 3.
The PKGBUILD for this can be found:
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/ryzom-client/
The Package will take upto 1 hour to compress, and doesnt need to be updated after.
Once build you can share it between computers and friends.
Enjoy,
