Hello Hannadashliva
I have ATI too (in debian) and lot of problem with driver when there are updated.
I noticed that different clients run good or bad with the same driver. So, test
-client of sourceforge,
-static client by Shevek (original post here )
-ppa of Kervala (in debian sid, version for... oneiric onyx run good, but not other).
-compilate your own client (erf, good luck...). If you choose this option, visit ryzomcore and especially IRC (freenode, #ryzom) if you have problem, they know that... but it's very difficult. I'm not sure where is instruction for compilation, so search :p
And after... other solutions :
-Reinstall your driver, by zero.
-Try other drivers. Proprietary, or solution with smxi (during a time, i can run ryzom only with one solution in smxi).
Update is very dangerous for ryzom, i don't know for what. When I update, my other applications are ok, but ryzom don't want run suddenly and i spend time to correct this.
