I do not side with the accusations against the Matis people and their practice of shaping nature as integral part of their culture. And I welcome any search for lost or hidden knowledge, and trust in a sense of responsibility in case the findings are proving risky.
As a matter of fact, not this project is slandered and defamed - though I can name a couple of real risks in it which should be taken attention of. It is the healer Tao Sian who outrageously slanders the Atys rangers to be the greatest threat for the living planet at this time. I have already written to the commander of the rangers to intervene at the theocracy to stop such outbreaks of fanaticism and hysteria, and decided to publish my concerns.
