MOBs and armour are 2 totaly different things - the 270 kipucka and kirosta have a different appearance just to symbolise that it can be killed for supreme mats.
Also, as to the karavan/kami armour - the kami and the karavan have the kami and karavan points which as you said is a faction. Also - with those points they can get special picks, catalyzers, generic mats, skirts, and shields - yet marauders are only able to you pvp points for basically nothing.
Rangers are a faction that still doesn't have a city and if they did then sure there could be another thread about ranger armour for rangers.
Plus marauder armour has a specific skin - why would the dev's make new skins and everything when they can easily use previously designed and in-use skins?
