2 days ago I started Ryzom and it started patching the 124mb (or so) patch, which was successful as at some point it finished and asked for a restart of the client.
After that I was asked to update my Graphic Card driver to the up-to-date version, which curiously wasn't the one mentioned by Ryzom, but at least the link to the NVidia page was correct.
I up-dated my GraCa driver to 310.90, but Ryzom still shows the "need for an update of version", as followed:
Your video drivers are not up-to-date. Device NVidia GeForce GT425M, current driver 1.0.9.0, recommended version 6.1.7.6
When I now start the ryzom client the following happens:
1. message to up-date GraCa driver (which I click on no) then
2. the log in screen appears (the old one) based on version FV 1.2.0.904
3. I log on and the patcher start and runs up to file(?) 236 as usual
4. patch of 42mb is shown with 11 packets and....
error message shows stating: patch failure
I tried as suggested to change the name of the "data" folder (e.g. into data2) and start the client.
It results in a sequence of error messages and not even going close to the log-on screen.
Any other ideas?
