I personnaly dont write the story of my character's'adventures ôn the forum, especially action stories. I'm not an experienced writter, never wrote an action story before, and it takes time that I'd rather spend ingame playing.
Some might think it's too bad not to share this with the rest of the players who didn't take part, and it's true, it means those stories that we played are destined to dissapear, except in the memory of those that played them. But i like roleplaying, i dont especially like to write, I'm not an author, I'm a player.
Avout this specific event, as pointed out by timna, our guild leader has alredy wrote something in his "diary of a legionary". (i didnt take part in the zorai and matis events since my char had no reason to be there).
Finally, i dont consider this kind of story telling posts as "RP" since they are ooc most of the time and have no existence on atys, except in the case of Diaries or other stuff that the character would have told/written himself). Which doesn't mean they are not interesting, as a way to let other players (rather than characters) know what is being played ingame.i personnaly enjoy reading those, but again, I'm not a writter and can't be bothered writting stories for the sake of others, i am content to selfishly play ingame. Only a fraction of the roleplayers actually write this kind of stories on forums, and i must admit not many in our guil do it.
