Dear Ryzom CSR's,
I have unsubscribed for reasons which have been communicated previously to you, but now I cant access my account, is my account too old for F2P?
I am an old character who played from 2005- 2008, on and off due to RL commitments. I dropped out of contact with Ryzom but I always wished to have time to return to it . I received no email regarding the character wipe, as soon as I heard about it through some blogs I resubscribed but alas my character was gone.
I have contacted your customer service and to be frank I am disappointed with how you dealt with my requests and queries, with the exception of my dealings with Tiximei whom was courteous and professional at all times.
I no longer have enough play time to justify resubscribing if I will be using this limited playtime to level up skills previously mastered eg. Jewelry.
We know the capability is there to restore the characters and I have offered to pay a reasonable fee for such. My request was denied as I have not played in 3 years. This I believe is ludicrous as Ryzom needs paying players to survive. The merge was done to save costs and the added benefit is the return of many old players. You are missing a revenue generating opportunity by not offering restoration of characters to those that have no time/desire to level up their old skills.
Since you have not responded to my last email I kindly ask that if your position on this changes that you please broadcast it or let me know by email as I will gladly resubscribe .
