I don't know of anyone who really *likes* it.
As far as I'm concerned (as I have often expressed) it has failed at the stated goals of the changes. Dappers are easy to get for high level toons and nearly impossible for low level toons unless they do mission after mission. Even high levels have to concentrate on making dappers to support their other habits (like rescues, tours, etc.).
There are some other, subtler changes that were made and I don't like them either. Crafting tools, in addition to the problem of ranking and the expense of high level ones, wear out a LOT faster than they used to. (The exception appears to be picks which wear at near the old rate.) This makes it even harder to make dappers by crafting.
The fact that OP materials and crafting of OP tools is broken adds to the mess.
