We all love it when we unlock a new title, and I personally (and I am sure many of you would be identified) like to have a title that describes my character and differentiates me from the rest of the players. Thus, I believe that a larger variety of titles will be appreciated and not too difficult to implement into the game. A suggestion would be to make Leaders of guilds able to give members a title from limited ammount of titles offered.

A title with no meaning isn't anything.

At the moment there's titles for every skill. At most I can see room (outside of roleplaying titles) for titles granted on completing an entire tree.
For example "grand master heavy armour smith" for completing all 2h weapons crafts.

Anyway... Titles have always been something to work for. If a guild leader could just randomly hand out titles what would the point be?
It would be nice to have more roleplay ones though. I can think of a few... *cough* points at first sentence *cough*

Specific titles unlocking once a character reach 100 fame with faction or race would be nice. Matis Loyalist or Kami Devouter, something like this.

titles unlocked by a negative fame would be cool too, like "zoraï's lethal enemy" or whatever...
this could also provide a proper title to "marauder" characters.

nice to see something accepted and i hope they do some of the idea's that are said in this thread but not guild leaders giving out titles since where would the acomplishment be when a guild leader can just give you a tiitle
