Tribe fame titles - IDEAS FOR RYZOM - Ryzom Community Forum

Pretty simple. Have titles for tribe fame similar to the ones for nations and factions.

The highest fame (100) should simply award one the name of the tribe.
(Example: 100 fame with the Corsairs does award the title Corsairs).

Might also give people a reason to inhabit some forgotten regions to raise their fame with the tribe missions.

To support your idea, I would only add that it might be better if there was a new currency and trade system built-in with the membership as well with each tribe offering exclusive items or mats. Just a thought.

Neira's idea is interesting, but much more complex than it seems. There's a difference between being of good repute and bearing the title of that tribe. Obtaining and bearing the title of a tribe means becoming a member of that tribe, which implies a lot of things in terms of Lore, so the idea must first be validated by the Lore team. If we follow the current Ryzom system, becoming a member of a tribe has to go through a rite and has consequences on the renown of factions and nations, and on all enemy tribes. For example, Neira wearing the title of Black Circle (I say this totally by chance...) would see her Tryker renown drop to -16.

Rather than being a member of the tribe, a title of "friend of such-and-such a tribe" would remain consistent in terms of lore. In any case, it would be much simpler and quicker than developing a rite for each tribe. Especially since if you're a member of such-and-such a tribe, how do you justify being a member of another tribe? Or maybe you need a tribal rite that prevents you from switching to another tribal/national rite. In short, a gas factory. A "friend of" title isn't bad enough ^.
