IDEAS FOR RYZOM

It would be nice if Ryzom could offer some formal way to find groups for group activities. I'm thinking of both short term and long term planning of activities. For example, a short term planning would be "Hey, Dante is up. Who wants to join?". I guess this can be done in chat but I imagine on busy chat days things like that could be buried in other chatter or there might be people not following chat very closely or not at all even. So I think an extra window listing people's reguests for groups would be helpful.
Then there's the long term planning which would be something like "I'd like to do the Ranger Rite but I need a team with one Ranger in it. Let's do this sometime next week". I guess for this kind of thing a dedicated section in the forums would work, but having it quickly accessible in a group finder window would be better.

A feature like this has been requested before. I have also wanted it. There was supposedly something external to the game that was already made to help players organise activities, but I don't know if it gets used. In my experience, group activities are usually planned within guilds/alliances and in Discord. +1

There have been a couple apps made (and still available), but forums and in game channels are still the best way.

Nm, the simple group finder I had saved is broken. But it never really took off.
