Content Patch 1003 (2024-09-14)

Patches 1000-1003

  • Guild and apartment inventories no longer close when exiting buildings, nor when manipulating chests.
  • It is now possible to get on and off a mektoub while in the water. What's the point? Good question...
  • Permission to view guild chests has been corrected.
  • The map displayed after teleportation is the most accurate. So if you teleport to the ranger camp, the camp map will be displayed. If you don't understand this patch note, test it out!
  • RP items should be correctly equipped for each new connection.

Patches 998-1000

  • Return of the number of dynamic events indicator on the radar
  • Return of RP lesson chests
  • August reward added for premium accounts
  • Fixed an exploit that allowed a player to join a team uninvited (boo!)

Patches 995-997

  • Corrected display and tooltip of inventory volume progress bar
  • Bug fixes and ARK code optimization

Command autocompletion is here!

No need to search the ryzom wiki for the exact spelling of a command, or the list of parameters, thanks to autocompletion. Start typing your command and a list of suggestions will appear.

Sort your friends' groups

For some months now, sorting in the groups of your friends list has been buggy. This has now been corrected and there's no longer any reason not to use this feature.

More choice in materials for guild island NPCs

NPCs on guild islands who used to ask for materials to build buildings or convert outpost materials now accept Bosses' materials. A great way to empty your GH.

Guild chests arrive to expand and better organize your GH

  • Guild chests allow you to organize your GH into different compartments.
  • The Guild tab in the inventory is replaced by 2 tabs, GH 1 and GH 2. Each tab can display one of the guild chests.
  • Each chest has 500 slots and a variable bulk capacity.
  • New chests can be built on the guild island (up to a maximum of 20). Each chest appears physically on the island.
  • On the guild island, it is possible to enlarge (increase the bulk of) each individual chest.
  • Each chest have a name (which can be changed), a maximum bulk (which can be increased) and 3 permissions: who can see the contents, who can deposit in the chest and who can take from the chest. For each permission, you can choose between Members (i.e. everyone), Officer, Senior Officer and Chief.
  • If members can't see the content of a chest, they can't drop items into it either.
  • Only one chest can be reserved for the Chief.

Tutorial improvements

  • The findable chest is now easier to find: the smaller one has been replaced by the larger one, which also becomes the only chest.
  • A psykopla seed chest is now available, so you can stock up if you need to.

4 Nations lessons

  • 4 new lessons have been added on Silan to explain the particularities of each nation.
  • Each lesson rewards you with the nation's equipable RP flag.

from the guild island, it works via I (because when I open the physical safe, it doesn't work: the window closes by itself). I've been able to move stuff from one window to another. I assume that from the GH it works the same way :)

Here's how to get an extra guild chest:

1 - Start by positioning the Intendante on the island

2 - Get a foreman and also place it

3 - Purchase options for the trunk

1: Obtain elements from supreme drilling materials (any ecosystem)
2: Obtain elements from hunting supreme materials (any ecosystem)
3: Obtain chests from the elements

Note: the quantity and quality of items, as well as the amount of guild points required, increases with the number of chests already in place. Here are the quantity tables:



Note 2: As the guild point limit is currently 200, it is not possible to obtain more than 14 chests. This limit will be increased at a later date.

Here's how to increase the maximum volume of a trunk:

1 - Start by placing the chest on the island


2 - Open the trunk


3 - Trunk management interface


1: Display the contents of the safe
2: Increase trunk volume (available only if the trunk is not at its maximum)
3: Rename the trunk
4: Managing permissions


4 - Open purchasing options


Note: Upgrades must be purchased one after the other.

Trunk information is available in the ryzom api with the inventory module enabled.

How to manage safes via the ryzom api


The guild inventory works as before, except that it has 10,000 slots available instead of 1,000.

Then each trunk corresponds to a segment of the inventory:

Box 1: slots 0-499
Box 2: slots 500-999
Box 3: slots 1000-1499
Box 4: slots 1500-1999
...

All you have to do is filter the slots according to the chosen inventory.


It's not impossible that an additional parameter will be added to allow you to choose the trunk, thus reducing the time taken to load data from the api.

Correction on the price in dappers of the increase of the coffers.
Prices were exorbitantly high compared with the Guild Hall price (10M maximum).
They have been rectified.

Guilds who would like a refund can send me a request via RC and I'll do it as soon as possible (next week then) ;)

The fact that after teleporting to a city, a map of that city is shown - is good (in any case, it is not bad).
But what is not good - is that when going beyond the city boundaries (the city map boundaries), the city map does not automatically change to a regional map.
