There is no explanation because they don't need them. Neither do you nor I nor any of the other subscribers. We also don't need an option of interacting with the game using a mouse. Even a graphical interface is not strictly necessary. Hell, we could be issuing commands using punch cards and receiving feedback in printouts sent by snail mail. What's you point?
