IDEAS FOR RYZOM

I may have been wrong to talk about healing of anything and everything, hoping to increase the chances of getting people to accept the idea of advancing healing outside of the team. Healing MOBS is not the essence of my idea, far from it. For my part, if we could already reward any healer out of a team, that would be good. It seems to me that this is an ideal that would fit well with the spirit of the Ranger. Perhaps it is necessary to limit this" ability " only to the Ranger, but I also remain convinced that it should include all neutrals who have not done any loyalty rites.

Like Ranger points?

However, I see no alternative for non-ranger characters, in case you suggest this limit.

For instance for Rangers.

But from my point of view, and it is the reason I speak about "neutral" gamers, it would be fine to have some "reward" in XP when you are helping somebody (not in PvP) but in a mission (goo, kitins...), for instance, or after a dig accident, or pulling unfortunately an aggro again another gamer, etc..

When I begun on Ryzom, my guild (Hoodo) was neutral. And we imagine to help people. I was always unhappy to could not heal people around me, because for me, it's also a part of the RP. RP is not only speech, it's also behaviour...

hmm... maybe a Mentor system? in which you would team with someone undergoing a mission and you get to choose to mentor them, giving you a copy of the mission and the same(or synced) progress without the mission rewards but a mentor reward.

possibly weave in being able to heal your student as RP
