Recently, I discovered a portal from the Dunes of Exile (fyros-land) to The Great Outback (Zorai-land) and it was a direct potal that bypassed the dreaded Underspring. But this portal was not listed in the BIG MAP of all kingdoms.

So, where can I find a more expansive set of all such portals? On Ballistic Mystix? or somewhere else? Hell, If I had been aware of that particular portal mo0nths ago, I would not have wasted so many mounts that I had abandoned in the Underspring.

I miss those mounts (sniff)

That particular portal was opened during an event and wasn't part of the original set of portals available when Ryzom was released. Guess they just forgot to update the map. :-/

You can't "complete" the mainland. If one thinks one has seen or done everything there, one is kidding oneself. But be prepared to "get out what you put in," because the mainland does not coddle or hold hands.

Other games - they give you a cookie whether you succeed or not, in fact you don't even have to participate. Ryzom takes your cookie, eats it in front of you, and slaps you 2 or 3 times for bringing a cookie in the first place.

You have to click a button on the BM site's map to show portals. But the way that ramp in Great Outback is sometimes, there are times where Underspring is actually easier.

That's news to me; it's been there at least as long as I've been playing, and I've been here about 2 1/2 years. Maybe they added it so that you could trek all four capitals without hitting PR? Or maybe the event was to celebrate it's Grand Opening?
