hi my user name for my paid account is curmudgeon and it's just too long for ppl to bother typing, can I get it changed it to mudge or mudgy or mudger for the promise of another 3 months subs?

Your account name should not be subject to typing by others.

If your toon name needs to be changed you can submit a ticket in game or write to support@ryzom.com . The CSRs will want information that will prove it is you.

As far as length of names is concerned ... *grins*
