Hi, Im Blin, I have few new ideas for ryzom's chat:
- Web links' support, internal (forum things) and external (like youtube).
- Item viewer: focus on chat, then press something like Ctrl+Mouse0 on inventory's item then get a reference to chat, were you see item's stats
- skill viewer: same thing, but for skills :P
- Landmark share
- colorful chat: can use different colors in same chat windows

those 2 I'm really missing in Ryzom, I know them from other games and I used them a lot.

It's not quite a chat feature, but sending items by Izam mail would also be amazing (but their should be a reasonable limit per bird, like 15 bulk /1 large weapon).

Please no colors. Or at least make them optional / filter them out via an option.

+1 to the rest, linking items and skills has been a mmo standard for a long time, this really shows ryzom's age...

I'm not sure I understand.

I can see my item stats easily. What do you mean by: "focus on chat, then press something like Ctrl+Mouse0 on inventory's item then get a reference to chat, were you see item's stats". I'f I'm focused in chat, how do I click on anything in inventory? What's chat got to do with it?

What I'd love is a way to "look over the shoulder" of someone displaying an action so that I can see what stanzas they are using, but I wouldn't want that in chat.

P.S. Ryzom is the only MMO I've played. Excuse the ignorance of something that is apparently MMO-standard.

Basically, you add a fancy link to the chat (looks like [choice vest with dodge]), you click it or hover with the mouse cursor and it shows the info window/stats of the item.

Shift clicking on an item or skill produces a link in chat and other players can click it and see the right click info screen. This is helpful to explain skills or equip in chat without meeting in person and showing the items in a trade window. Could also advertise crafted items this way e.g. rubbarned etc without the risk of forgetting them at a merchant.

Would need to patch the links in chat in general from Ryzom Core Fixing Commit and then this could actually be possible.

I don't see the utility for items or skills, but as noted earlier I would *love* to be able to do that with actions, to help show people how to edit actions. (Or is that what you meant by 'skills'?)
