This also effects me. Game is pretty much unplayable for me now, and I don't feel like spending half the day downloading the game + updates from the Ryzom webpage. The entire reason I switched to the steam client was because it was supposed to be less buggy.

I said less buggy, not less laggy. I meant that it was supposed to receive priority on updates and support.

OK, this may be a really stupid answer... sorry

Can you get the the "keys" window (hit 'k'), and if it not setup for wasd, then you need to reset it.

I tried that before. When I re-assign the keys using the keymap window it works for about 3 seconds and then stops again.

Try disabling steam overlay and see if that helps.

Hi! I had the same problem! i played trough steam and couldn't move. I downloaded the game from the page and works well. It's a s**t to do that, but it was the fastest solution i found in Uni. I play in ubuntu studio 14.04. Cheers!

Ryzom on Steam has been updated and the issue is fixed aswell.
