Whenever I'm in High Market in Pyr I've noticed one of the meks there behaving strangely. It's the one that stands by the HA merchant. Basically, it follows my movements. If I stand merchant side of it, it turns that way; if i stand tunnel side of it, it turns that way. Whereever I stand, it turns to look in my direction.

I was fooling around with it yesterday and Freeka was with me but she didn't see the same behaviour, it just stood still. So I was curious, has anyone else noticed this behaviour?

You can't "complete" the mainland. If one thinks one has seen or done everything there, one is kidding oneself. But be prepared to "get out what you put in," because the mainland does not coddle or hold hands.

Other games - they give you a cookie whether you succeed or not, in fact you don't even have to participate. Ryzom takes your cookie, eats it in front of you, and slaps you 2 or 3 times for bringing a cookie in the first place.

NPCs behave the same way when you target them. They always face you, but this is only visible in your own version of the game. For another player point of view, the same NPC doesn't move (unless he target the NPC also).

Not all the NPCs do that when targeted. I've only had the described mektoub do it, and the Kitin Observer at Cerakos Gate.

Couldn't get them do it in a consistent / reproductible way.

I never targeted that mek, in fact tonight I DID target it and didn't get the follow. Don't know wha tthe trigger is but it doesn't always follow you.

The plot thickens....

There are meks all over atys that behave this way for me.. one by stables in natae that always follows my movements, and in yrkanis.

I'm not sure why they do this, they're not mine, but they act like my meks...
