Reposting this from the Web Apps forum:

I am having an issue with a new character I created yesterday. Whenever I try to connect to the web app, whether from my browser or in-game, it returns the following message:

ryDb New Char Error



I cannot access any of the profile / forum / mail / occupation / achievement features with that character. The character's name is Faervel.

Could you please tell me what to do about it?

First, have you tried it again (later) today. At least one person who was having a problem logging in yesterday can now access things.

Second, I recommend an email to support-ee@ryzom.com in addition to reporting the problem here.

That message is interesting -- I don't believe it's ever been reported before.

Yes, I have been trying to log out several times over the past days. I have also tried to create another new character on the same account, but the problem also appeared on that character.
