If the situation is "I can do it and you can't." Then the game is even MORE broken than we thought because it implies that the problem is client or connection dependent. FF and Gil have tried to explain to you what they have done. The code of the game (not something they have control over) shows that their analysis is correct. Fyros Freddy put it in a very concise form with his description of exactly what stanzas he was using, and you do not seem to have read them.

If you are popping node where they cannot, then it implies that your client (and your connexion to the server) are radically different than theirs, or the situation (random weather etc.) was different when you popped them. They are complaining about a specific situation in a specific location at specific times. If you have not been beside them, then you have not "replicated the situation." Doing it at a different time makes it a different experiment.

And if you think it is all in "how I do it," then you should, as I suggested last night in our conversation, write up exactly how you do it, explain how it gets around the coding problem, and then demonstrate it side by side with either Gil or FF. That is how scientists do it -- that is how Gil and FF have done it.

I believe this to be the case...at least for the client. I think people on different platforms are running around with several different versions of the client. It seems to cause a lot of trouble with weather, digging, TPs etc etc...even in stuff you would think should be straight forward and coming from server instead of client.

Going to agree that the game is broken though. It seems like the devs are probably trying to deal with an ancient and very messy code base. It's not always easy to track down bugs or make changes under those circumstances. The smallest thing could take hours and changing one thing can dramatically effect something completely different. Add to that different client versions running around and I'm not sure how this all will end well.

I can only hope.

OK, Gilgameesh (GM) and I (FF) just went down to Sunken City by Haunted Gorge Farm to do more testing. I was on Win7-64, Gilga on Ubuntu.

Exe Shu Fiber - For FF, Exe Shu tracks to 1meter on marked spot. Supreme and Choice prospects say "different class". Exe says "not in area". For GM, exe tracking said 1 meter and prospecting exe said "depleted".

Exe Irin Oil - Exe Irin tracks to 1meter on marked spot. Supreme and Choice prospects say "different class". Exe says "not in area". GM had same experience.

Exe Viscous Sap - Exe Viscous tracks to 1meter on marked spot. Supreme and Choice prospects say "different class". Exe says "not in area". Worse yet, we were both getting "not present in this weather" messages but after a while, I was getting "not present in area" and he was still still getting "weather". Over the next 15 minutes at both the exe viscous spots, I got random "weather" and "not present" sometimes message alternating with every other cast.

this is the problem reported in the ticket. NFNoDepositForFilter has higher priority compared to NFDepositDepleted. the error message will vary depending on the deposit layout, nearby deposits and luck, but the problem is the same. tracking always work afaik.

same problem. the weather thing tho is working 'fine'. when you prospect, random 'invisible' nodes pop on the ground. if they fall into the deposit area, you get the weather message. if they fall out, you get the 'not present' message. make sure you are well into the deposit area (not in the border) and reduce the prospect distance to have a more consistent result.

Regardless of the programming reason it is still not working. If you are using filters, and the filters are working, the priority should be irrelevant. The point we are making is the problem reported by the ticket is highly exacerbated by the fact that supreme, execellent and choice nodes are now in different locations.

It can't be working fine when differenrt clients produce different results. We spent about 2 hours doing this. We were well into the deposit areas, moved around and recast over and over again in same spots and in different spots. I cast well over 80 times on Win 7 and got not present. Gilga case well over 80 times and got different answers. No prospecting distance greater then Range 2 (10 meters) was used.

Over by SC Kami TP, I can see this happening w/o a filter where Exe Mitexi overlaps Choice Oath. But when prospecting for Exe Mitexe Bark, it should ignore anything that is not Mitexe.

I have my "Pumpkin Hunter" badge...also "Atysmas Storyteller" and "Atysmas Fir tree Designer" (press P, goto INFO tab, click on REFRESH, click on of your Title in the of your Descriptions, click on {special_titles})

I'm guessing that we will have a chance to get them again next Annlor Winn and Atysmas (and I am also just guessing that that is the reason ofor why they expire in after one year)

but still waiting with no Pumpkin/Yubo - and I would like to know if the Yubo is called "Teddy" and is q100 with 0 Kg Weight and 5.00 Bulk (if so, then can I dual weild ithem? ...although mine now looks like a Gingerbread Man Cookie (the last time that I can checked)
