Das ist wahrscheinlich ironisch gemeint, aber manuelle Kategorisierung der Freundesliste wäre durchaus sinnvoll.

Einige nutzen ihre Freundesliste als Indikator für die Aktivität auf dem Server. Das heißt wie viele Homins, die man bereits getroffen hat, online sind. Eine Kategorisierung nach Homins, die man kennt und welcher Gilde diese angehören, welche zu einer Allianz gehören oder auch welche Muttersprache diese haben, fände ich praktisch. Damit würden sich die Listen in den Foren erübrigen und man müsste sich weniger merken.

Ich würde Folgendes vorschlagen:

Man entnimmt die Daten aus der API oder direkt vom Server.

Gilde (evtl. auch Rang in der Gilde), Sprache, Fraktion/Organisation

und zeigt es in einem Overlay, wenn man mit dem Mauszeiger über den Namen bewegt:

in der Fraktion Ranger
und spricht Deutsch.

Oder man könnte, folgendes in der Freundesliste machen:

• Gilde Blaufuß
  • Homin3 (L Karavan ES)

  • Homin5 (L Neutral RU)

L=Anführer
HO=Hoher Offizier
O=Offizier
M=Mitglied

Die Sprache wäre dann abhängig von der genutzten Sprache des Ryzom Clients.

Diese Informationen sind nicht sonderlich sensibel, und könnten durchaus automatisch ohne Zustimmung freigegeben werden. Ansonsten, bleibt ja noch die Ignore-Liste.

Only because the topic I wanted was already here.

I would love to be able to customize my friends list. I have added a Zoria sized mek amount of friends to my list. The very old ones I know exactly who they are and whey they're there but some of the newer ones can confuse me. And I get names with the same first few letters mixed up... a LOT. It would be great to combine the 2 ideas here but also to add your own custom groups like "PVP" "LACrafter" "RP". If not the ability to add a group then possibly the ability to add notes on names in the friends list. It would be so helpful to have extra info at hand when you need it.

++ für Elke's Idee. ich habe erst neulich eben solch ein Problem gehabt, grüßte ich doch einen vermeintlich neu ins Spiel angekommenen Mitspieler Charakter mit als freundlich gemeintem Chat. Unglücklicherweise chattete ich allerdings auf einen wie Rolespielen gewählte Art, so wie mir halt manch einmal in den Sinn es kommt, nichts böses meinend noch ahnend. Dennoch nahm jener Spieler übel, dass ich dessen alt Charakter als einen Neuling im Spiel ansprach, da der main Charakter schon etliche Jahre im Spiel aktiv gewesen ist. Um nicht künftig derselbe Spieler Charakter erneut vorm Kopf zu stoßen beim Chatten, dafür ware der Vorschlag elegant nützlich, könnte ich dann, sagen wir, als Oldtimer, oder so ähnlich den und andere Spieler im FL gruppieren oder kennzechnen, oder eben wirklich neu ins Spiel angekomme Spieler Charaktere als eben solches.

Or, if categorizing is too much, at least let us add a "nickname" to them, and we'll do the labelling manually.

Either way, this would also help solve the problem with people that get renamed, and now you have a new person on your list, with no idea who they are.

in emails, contacts have tags - I use them to try to remem who is French, English etc...

I would love to see contacts (in emails) and frient list "unified"...

Moreover, in P, we have the biographie stuff (in INFO tab), I think it's quite unexploited. So, if we could have a link to our friends bio ...

(dreaming) immagine, if, each of us, in our P / INFO would write (or select in some fields for languages) added in here (in P/INFO) :

• our main language, then other languages spoken
• our guild name
• rank in guild
• nation/faction
• a short bio
• some link to a post on forum or on wiki
