[idea] Monster taming and training - IDÉES POUR RYZOM

It would be cool if we can tame and train a monster

just think of it, it would be like a ranger class with izam acting like an eagle or any other birds that are hunters except for vultures those things a big >.<

or taming a budoc as a helpful sidekick

but there should be a limit on taming though, in other words tamers can only tame 1 or 2 animals per toons so it won't cause any imbalance to the game as well as tame animals/monsters are not allowed to participate in pvp activities (if that is possible)

Think I remember having a conversation with a CSR like this before or email, think it went something like this 'it's hard to keep track of every animal in game (unique codes/serial for each animal, dead animals counted) that's why you can't name mektoubs (they did say they tried the named meks in the past tho).

so if they where to add another animal to the game (and tameable so that means it would be a different animal for each toon).. I like the idea tho.

This request comes up with some regularity.

We did have named meks for a while about the time of the server merge. The problem wasn't with the naming process but with the names that *some people* put on their poor meks. It went bad fast.

Personally I think it wonderful that we have the possibility of pets / zigs now.

Totally agree with this, its not possibility problem, just human reaction problem.

I totally support that idea. Sure it is not the first time, this idea comes up, but it would be great to have my own bodoc on my side xD

The little pets you get as reward at the wheel are great, but a real pet you tamed on your own? Imagine, you walk though the wilderness, see a creature and can tame it by some special skill. That would be great xD

@Devs pls think about it again and make it possible!
