I'm currently working on quality of life improvements. I believe the current way to manage materials / databases is horrible and so are the postcraft formulas.

My overal goal is to improve the usability of this tool for everyone. I really like the guided approach of the recipes app, wich asks a few questions and just works. I might add some (optional) wizards to KC too.

A Devolver. :D

Instead of selecting the item I want to make (say a medium quality axe, and evolve what is needed to make the item, I would love to see the reverse.

Provide what I have (looted & harvested), and devolve it into what could be made with the items (2 medium quality axe, 1 basic quality dagger; or 3 basic quality axe, and left-overs).
The devolution can be made to be with similar target "Conditions" as the Evolver.

I really don't see the usefulness of this suggestion. Looking back into this list as I might have some spare time right now *hint* *hint*

Wish there was a easy way to "output" or export into Craft Ranges Tool

suggestions

What i'd like to see is a per grade quality limit filter in evolver.

Basic: 0-300
Fine: 0-300
Choice: 0-300
Excellent: 0-300
Supreme 0-300

lets say i want to make q150 armor:
i can kill 170 supremes, i cant kill 220 supremes, i can kill 260 excellent.
i set evolver to min 150, max 260, but it will count 220 supremes, it would have been fine if every 220 supreme had a 170 varient but it doesn't. nor do excellent have the same species at each quality step (60-110-160-210-260)
same for choice mobs ofc.

basic and fine could be argued for kizarak, vorax, yetin and jugs, but to me it be more like completionist sake :P
or there could be more uses for those 2 grades that i don't know of

That's an interesting idea. I want to add a better way to customize your material database, which could then be used in any of the tools. You *can* add filters already, but the system is ugly. I also want to add cool wizards so you don't have to click trough tons of settings but answer a few questions instead.

I tried to make something similar by editing the database using wiki moblist to get all mob cho/exc/sup in individual entries but kipeecraft wouldn't accept duplicates. it works for manual recipes tho but saving and loading recipe will give error again.

the filter thing i suggested would need to exclude dig mats and have dig in their own 0-300 filter. seeing as they can be harvested in every quality and only depend on your skill level (e.g. you can dig q10 supreme aslong as you have high enough root dig to be able to dig sup/root)
