Here is a variable I am wondering about, does the aggro range change if the mob is facing away from you even by a small amount like 1m? Sometimes cuttlers facing me seem to attack sooner than ones with their backs turned towards me. Anyone check that one out? Just curious.

Thank you for these replies. I am a mid-range player (170-ish) and I am trying to become an expert on "RUNNING AWAY". I use "bunny tools" alot to allow me to not have to run away so much.

... it took much trial and some epic failures to acquire that skill, so I wouldn't advise it.

Daomei is correct in saying that some mobs do have a more directional agro range than others. Not all, but some.
