If you type some stuff for example in Word that includes something like the quote (non-standard ascii version of " " is a word default), after you save you end up with a blank post.

The US English quotes are not the same as the ones in your post, Vianney. The Microsoft "Magic Quotes" are notorious for blowing up in html. (Meaning that they don't convert properly, and cause unintended behavior. )

And it seems to have worked for me.

Edit - it worked when I submitted, now the post is gone.

It was a copy/paste from the current version of Word in US English settings, with the stupid magic quotes that break everything.

The MS Word quotes for US English are notorious for causing these sorts of problems. The quotes in your post, Vianney, are not the same ones that cause problems.

I'm just saying if you type basic quotes in Word (" " kind), and cut and paste into here, you end up with a blank post. This is all :)

UPDATE: by the way it will work in the new preview, then work when you first see it displayed, but then end up blank if you come back... like in the test below. Very confusing.

no troubles with special characters and cyrillics text for me in mail-system and outgame forums now... =) will check ingame later...
