There was a similar report a week or two ago, also involving Windoz 7 Enterprise. (But I can't seem to find it...)

I am not a dev, but it occurs to me that an Enterprise machine might be more aggressive about attempting to share running programs across multiple cores, something that will probably crash Ryzom, an old and stodgy game. My first trial would be to see if I could attach Ryzom to CPU 0 (or 1, depending on how you count).

Your machine looks more than capable, in fact ... overkill.

I use a little 3rd party program called WinAFC. You can do it in the Task Manager but Ryzom has to be reset each time. WinAFC uses a text file to assign specific processes to specific cores so you can run multiple clients each on a different core.

I doubt it's a multiple core issue, I run Ryzom across all 8 cpus (Win 7 pro 2x quad core processors) with noticeable improvement and no crashing other than the random Zora crash that's been around since 2004. I've even run multiple clients across all 8 cpus and experienced no issues. This has been the case on 7 different computers, all running Win 7 Pro, 3 desktop and 4 laptop. Having said that Win 7 Ent may, of course, have other issues that are causing the lock-up.

Did you run other games and/or 3D Benchmarks successfully for more than 45min? Usually this kind of problem is due to faulty hardware (possibly combined with driver issues). You can also use a temperature monitor for your graphics card to monitor GPU core temperature. You are describing a very likely symptom of excess heat. A quick google also shows some issues with badly seated heatsinks on 7770s.
