sorry didn't realize you were mid thought, i forget that in-game forum posts are limited in size (why i always use browser). i guess the one thing i want to portray is that i'm not trying to force them to do it right now, but i'm also unwilling to let it rest so it can be forgotten or overlooked, i'm sorry that your just now getting OP mat's, but believe me it's not because guilds are out of space to store them. it's because some guilds are finally getting to see that the older ways of not sharing are not as effective (imho). to be honest i'd like to see merchants that sell ALL mat's and the more "special" the mat, the higher the cost, but there's nay-sayers on that idea too saying it would make OP's worthless (i feel it would turn them into a more pvp related item then, and less about the mat's, but mat's would still be a perk to owning one)

i've listed many possible paths for the upgrades, costs, and have not given up that sooner or later i will get at least something along the lines of what i'm asking for. as it stands now, i have items i want to keep just because of who made them, and what they wrote on them when they gave them to me, many of these players don't play anymore. sure i lost things at the merger that couldn't be replaced, but that happened to everyone. what's wrong with me wanting to keep things from players like tynee or firstdo, without having to give up space i can use for things that i actually will use up.

like i've said before, when i get that crazy bulk (1m) and crazy slot's (50k) i'll stop bringing this up so much (i can't abandon those that wanted it as well, unless someone else wanted to take the torch to keep light on this, but i don't see any of the above happening) i'm trying hard to be a man of my word and keep the light on this post, i'm trying to be a voice for over 70% of the players reading the forums and voting (and like RL if you don't vote, don't complain; i know you voted so your welcome to complain :)

anyway, i hope that one day we'll get this, and there will be a sharp decline in alt's being used for storage.

Just one thing - if the answer is a final, unchangeable, resounding "no", make it clear by stating that. Boom, problem solved, whenever people bring up the subject you can just point them to the moment the idea was officially rejected.

Until then, part of the frustration is that there's NO feedback on ideas.

Mjollren -- Absolutely agree that lack of feedback is a problem.

I think when 50% of the posts in a thread are from a single source, it's time to accept that the idea is not exactly representing the masses.

well the vote is what really counts FF, cause that's where it really speaks, and the fact that i post alot, means that i'm no quitter and won't just fold under because not many others have the nerve to speak up.

still large amount of desire for this as well, the poll speaks volumes about the topic.

I tend to take unique posts more seriously than a poll....not much thought needs to go into a single click.

I don't know how many peeps thot it was a good idea and then later, as i did, saw more downsides than upsides.

I watched Penn and Teller collect 100s of signatures on a petition to ban Di-Hydrogen Monoxide in beverages and other uses....

I don't know how many votes are from peeps who are still here.... I do kno the numbers aren't changing.

In a recent discussion you mentioned your large alt army .... the idea of that many alts with vastly larger storage capacity is somthing I find alarming given other current issues on the board. Strong guilds with many players with multiple alts .... sitting waiting for sups to pop while thinking of 10's of thousands of unused sups sitting bing hoarded in storage all over Atys is sumthin I think many peeps find disturbing.

I agree Freddy - at least the hoarders have to stop and transport stuff - to slow them down a little

for the horaders i agree, but my alt's are a stop gap for items and keepsakes i have, not mats (while i'm not a mat collector, i'm sure there are some out there) but i've also seen people that started on the no side come to the yes side, because as these items we want to save for purely sentimental reasons grow in number, our storage of other items we use (or collect for later use) grows smaller. (later use implies armors, jewels, weapons, picks, crafting tools, cat's saved for new f2p players, egg's, ect)

i see reasons to have more need for good valid reasons, after all merchants are a storage system of sorts, why not just allow that to be used for serious selling, and cure the storage issue with more room for stuff in apt's and gh's? (most of that stuff is for craft grinds, which is of little long term value beyond craft xp)

Well Devs took care of the "sentimental" stuff for me by wiping all such possessions with merge. My original no requirements LA set, my "haddo Jools", my 1st boosted HA set, all the event stuff, 3 sets of crafted NPC armor, 1 each of the dropped sets, 1 complete set of uber weapons crafted by Alegra. And I had all this on one account ... the alts of which didn't even have apartments. Had one alt GH which primarily stored supreme HA TIGS boost fails which when I had a full set gave away or used as a contest prize.

i have considered something simpler and fair (i think) what if an apt had the bulk of a guild hall (20k bulk) and a guild hall could have 200k bulk, surely that would cover the largest guild on the server.

73.1% of the voters agree that some upgrade in apartment bulk is desired, and the previous polls from the old forums so similar numbers.

i've learned that it would be rather hard to add the original idea of purchasable bulk upgrades, there would be too much coding involved as it's not handled by ark.

as a result of the above fact i'd like to propose that an apartment bulk be doubled from it's current amount of 2000 to 4000, while this isn't the amount i would really like to have, it would be better then nothing at all.

a similar idea is listed as "under study", that was quite some time ago, and in just a short time asking questions on IRC channels that a change from xxxx to xxxx would be fairly easy, but not a system to buy more and more as i wanted to start with.

Je me souviens qu'avant la fusion, Mistaey et moi approchions de la durée de vie utile de notre HA et, si je me souviens bien, nous attendions la météo pour creuser l'herbe argentée. Je n'ai pas eu l'occasion d'en parler, mais j'ai eu l'occasion d'en parler à un autre joueur, et j'ai eu l'occasion d'en parler à un autre joueur, et j'ai eu l'occasion d'en parler à un autre joueur. Un autre joueur était arrivé environ 5 minutes avant l'heure du pop time, traînant un Vorax aggro venant de "l'extérieur de la ville". Je l'ai mis en laisse et j'ai couru en rond autour de l'OP pendant que Misa a rezé le gars et l'a invité à faire partie de l'équipe.

Une minute environ après le début de la fouille, un Vorax s'est approché et a tué Misa, j'ai traîné le Vorax et je l'ai emmené faire un tour. Il s'est approché, a marché sur son cadavre et a déterré les sups. Comme c'était avant les enchantements, je ne pouvais rien faire pour Misa, alors je me suis enfui et j'ai perdu l'aggro, je suis revenu et je l'ai rez'd.

Le truc, c'est que pendant que nous attendions, il nous a dit qu'il avait deux guildes solo, pour lui et son alt sur le même compte. Les deux GHs étaient remplies au maximum avec UNIQUEMENT des sups.

Ce n'est pas que l'on puisse utiliser toutes ces ressources avec seulement deux personnes, il s'agissait de les cacher aux autres joueurs. Je ne pense pas que le jeu devrait permettre cela,


La mise en oeuvre de l'idée de la boîte de rangement apporte la solution à ce problème... fournir un espace de rangement illimité pour les objets uniques... Wither avait des racks d'armures où vous pouviez exposer votre équipement... Ryzom nous permet d'avoir tous les objets d'appartement que nous voulons... faites de même pour les vêtements (stockage pour la lingerie et les chemises). Il y a des boîtes de rangement ou des étagères pour les pliushies.

Mais les matelas d'artisanat, l'équipement, etc. impliquant la capacité d'affecter le gameplay ... non, cela devrait être limité. Quant à savoir à quel niveau ... je n'ai même pas envie de m'y attarder.
