need help with error - SUPPORT TECHNIQUE / BUGS APP WEB

i have been trying to get the game installed on my girlfriends laptop and get an error message after login

msg.xml and database.xml files are invalid (server version signature is different)

it is on the list of common problems but the link is broken i tried a couple of fixes i found on google(deleting data files) but i had to reinstall afterwords any help would be greatly appreciated

I tried a solution posted in the forums then it said the path to msg.xml was missing and died

im not sure what all you need to know

win vista 32 bit

i am going upgrade the pc to win 7 64 bit and try again i know it works on mine

that fixed it and i noticed a difference for what ever reason the client did not patch on vista 32 bit but patched fine on win 7 64 bit

I suppose it where user/file rights of some kind...
But we can't check it any longer ;-)
