PvP should be expanded, but in terms of quality not quantity. Have large areas forced PvP zones? I would not support this. Instead give PvP more reason, interesting mechanics, better rewards. There are countless PvP competition games out there (RTS, FPS etc), the possibilities are endless.

PvP has its place on Atys, but as mentioned before at the cost of PvE and non violent activities. It is the variety that counts, not the simplest solution.

Well said .... though I am concerned about how parts might be interpreted .....I'm for separate but equal ...... comparable but not necessarily the same rewrds should be avialable though PvP or PvE. One should NOT be forced in either direction because they would otherwise be denied access to areas, rewards, etc.

and thats why Iala that I said this new region would not have mats to dig for and if you were there it would ONLY for PvP.. This is the only way I think it would make most people happy.

This is the essence of all my PvP suggestions. New pointless PvP content, like regions and such? Nah. More improving and expanding for the old content, like Outposts and tagged PvP, that still have plenty of unrevealed potential? Yes, please!

I can't really put my thoughts better than Arc and Tumbleweed just have. We have lots of PvP opportunities; what we sometimes miss is motivation to use them.

Having been here since the very 1st beta there's no denying the mass exodus of w/ people after each uptick of PvP. Ryzom's uniqueness has been that it allows PvE players to co-exist in the same place as PvP players w/o denying them access to anything, often despite the devs efforts.

While the devs have clearly tried to force PvP on the community, 1st with OP's, then with Jessica-keth, then with the Spires idea all the way onto the reduction in OP goodies and introduction of race PvP, the community has done a "Nancy Regan" and maintained a "just say no" approach.
