Another suggestion for all hamsters: make NPC items unique. Which means that you can have only one. So you could have set of NPC but not setS of same NPC...

You could .... but I'd have to smoke a lot of Zorai Thinking Moss and a few bottles of Stinga Rum to be in a mindset to waste the crystals on choice mats :().

There exist generic raw materials higher than choice class. I have some beige supreme. However, I just say that white, red, blue and black are not the only option and it must be considered when someone suggest such type of limitation.

MoniqThere exist generic raw materials higher than choice class. I have some beige supreme. However, I just say that white, red, blue and black are not the only option and it must be considered when someone suggest such type of limitation. We have an issue of semantics here. I'm talking real world choices that have significant consequences. There's HUGE difference between theoretical choice and practical or real choice. A real choice is a true choice, one that comes without significant penalty.... a choice whereby a reasonable person might choose either option ... the color thing is a "Cake or Death" choice .If not familiar with "cake or death" lexicon.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rZVjKlBCvhgAre the color choices not a "choices that is not a real choice" ? A choice is not a choice when choosing one option leaves you with a considerable penalty. Here's how MS sold windows in the early days ... did this give PC OEMs a "real" choice of which DOS (Dr DOS or MS-DOS) they were going to use with Windows on their PCs ?MS-DOS and Windows - $29.95Windows Only = $49.95Of course not.... Any OEM who chose to use MS-DOS had to pay money for DOS + a $20 penalty for Windows placing them at a distinct disadvantage to competitors. Yes, they could stand on principal and say we gonna use DR DOS, but my next choice would be which office to choose where I would file for unemployment benefits. is this really different than .... "You've been bitten by a poisonous snake, you can take the anti-venon shot or you can die... your choice."Why those colors options are not a "real choices". For it to be a real choice ...a) you have to be able to get ya hands on 216 of those generic supreme mats to make a set of that HA. I have had 2 and lost them in merge. If no one has ever collected 216 of these supreme mats, the no it is by no stretch of the imagination a real choice.b) You are also have to be capable of getting stats with those mats that are at least reasonably close to what is available in the originally listed colors .... some of the existing HA color are very rare because having some colors represents too much of a performance penalty. "Well you can have beige, but ... "stats are no where near as good as the customary colors." c) If a player was able to obtain a crystal every time you killed a Marauder NPC, sure, no worries, by all means have a closet of many colored sets. But as many players are only in a position to have a set crafted after a year or more of effort, it's not a"real" or "practical" choice. If it was, where are they ? Soto my view, I don't see myself make a choice to make may armor that I worked 2 years to get have the same protection / parry stats as stuff could make w/o a crystal. But I'm a man so I don't care whether I look fashionable .... not if it costs that muuch.BTW, I made several sets of armor with "Choice" Generic mats and wound up with a set of "Fine" Armor .... 50% stats across the board. So no, unless I'm "out of mind" I'm not going to invest a marauder crystal to get those kinds of stats.

That's why it's a matter of "semantics" ... are we talking "can" or are we taking "can" ? We're not at odds here as we are talking about 2 different things. In the example you gave, while game mechanics would allow it to occur, the game has not, to date, provided the opportunity to do so in the required quantity of materials. Here's a good exampleWhen a child asks .... "That sign says "Speed Limit 75 miles per hour", can we drive faster than that ?" Do you say:a) "Yes, we can cause this car has a top speed if 165 mph."or b) "No you can't cause it's against the law."Both are literally correct, ... all I am saying is only 1 of those contains "practical" advice as to what is a sound and practical choice.
