As I learnt, the secrecy of Trytonists never was volontary, rather a consequence of prosecution by Kami/Kara, in different intensity over the nations, least in the desert, where Tryton is enjoying much respect due to Oflovak Rydon, and in the Lakes where every kind of oppression is despised.

Today, and even since the second swarming, I do not see any repression against the trytos anymore. Moreover, before the swarming, Elyssa promised a greater role of Elias in the Atys of the future, and after the swarming, some disguised trytonist NPC appeared at nations' meetings announcing the impending appearance of the trytonists in the public.

Trytonism is still outlawed in the Theocracy. Even though there are rumors that the Jungle is a major homebase for Trytonist cells.

Members of the Guild of Elias still reside in Zoraï territory. The Zora government is against the guild as it creates discord within the long standing Zoraï social system. This guild which operates "underground" has gathered testimonies of every encounter with the strange hominoid entity.

Their return and eventual establishment has been announced already during and short after the second great swarming. Trytonist NPC appeared during assemblies for some time, then everything subsided.

? There hasn't been a single trytonist NPC played after the second great swarming, all of the apparitions were players character.

Btw. there was nobody caring much for the marauders before Gaueko joined in, as far as I see. Event guides may come, leave, maybe return. Right now, ET has a lot to do, to my impression (I don't pretend to have insider knowledge, and do not have), and a small crew. Still, Trytonists are announced as a playable faction coming, and as long as this project is not officially dumped, there is a point to discuss it. And while Bina seems not overly interested in Trytonists' development, I would be curious whether Sorum, Sharleen and others are thinking likewise.

Hm Elyssa appeared during the meeting in Almati. I would call her an NPC or ET animated character, not a player character in a strict sense.

Meant after the exodus, sorry (speaking before the exodus didn't made much sense since it was 3 differents server - for example there wasn't any mention of an "Elyssa" on Aniro)

I am extremely interested in the trytonists RP and find Virg's views line up quite a lot with theirs (from what I can glean). However.. you raise many points which I see as contradictory here but I suppose the biggest issue is:

If the implementation won't have a big impact on the game- then what is the point of making new teleports, a city, defining RP etc etc?

Surely that much work should seek to have an impact on the game?

I think Ryzom has bitten off more than it can chew already- needs to deal with its current mouthful and then perhaps it would be good to look at trytonists.
