Sorry to bother you here, but couldnt really find any other place to post/ask this ...

Could the event guards in tryker please be despawned?

No, this is not so we can all have our Subox back .. this is because we (marauders) do still wanna play and try (given it really aint easy) to actually bring more marauders to the game, believe it or not .. Unfortunately, the event guards in fairhaven make it impossible to actually turn marauder .. because the npc for droping the fame is in the centre of the city and all the event guards get agro at -40, to take marauder rite we need at least -42 though ... so not only do these guards keep us out of the cities (which a lot of trykers are happy about, i know) but it does prevent us from making our friends marauder too .. which in the end will what? .. make us take the same path as Subox, i guess .. which would be sad for the game, i think.

Other games - they give you a cookie whether you succeed or not, in fact you don't even have to participate. Ryzom takes your cookie, eats it in front of you, and slaps you 2 or 3 times for bringing a cookie in the first place.

-50 should be the KoS point, same as all the others.

sera is right, totally impossible for a new person to become marauder now... well, unless the rite bugs again and lets the person become Mara without a kill - which happens a lot!

Additionally, if you want to revert and do this simply by applying occ in FH, you hardly can reach the mission guy or shipment board because of those guards.

So its not only the way to becoma marauder, its also the way back got more hard.

Even if the rite bugs out .. doesnt make any difference .. you cannot take the rite (speak to the sage) if the fame isnt at least -42 ... which is near on impossible now.

Oh didn't even think about all of that. So I guess it's impossible now to become a mara. :)
Do add it's impossible for mara now to buy NPC OP plans since FH was the safe zone for that.

My 2 cents of help:
Maybe let these guards att only ppl that are tagged and prepared to RP and die? And make em alot weaker. So RPing mara groups still have a chance.

Put their agro limit at -42 and let the guard be, problem solved (or put it at -50 like others guard but ask -50 for the mara rite, or whatever the value as long as someone with the rite is attacked by the guard)

However the Federal Guards only have an eye out for marauders and dont care much for fames, so a prospective marauder who has not completed the rite yet should have no problems if they go alone, or just without any current marauders tagging along.


The issue regarding OP plans is being looked at already, no eta as of yet though for that.

Some guards like zorai guards can be solo'd. Others require help to kill such as the FH guards. It seems a bit silly for a prospective marauder to have to ask non-marauders for help to complete the rite?
