Monday, 7 January 20:00: (Zorais) Assembly of the Awakened of Min-Cho (7 days to go)
Friday, 11 January 20:00: (Matis) Nobles Assembly of Na tae (2 weeks to go)
Tuesday, 15 January 20:00: (Trykers) Taliari Assemb ly of Cristabel (2 weeks to go)
Saturday, 19 January 20:00: (Fyros) Akenak Assembly of Pyr (3 weeks to go)

OK, it makes sense for French and German events to take place at 8-10 pm their time, (asuming that they are living at home and not in some foreign clime) and it has been hard on us in the US and Australia to take part in them. However, for all four of the English-speaking community events to take place at a time convenient *only* for those in Europe is going a bit overboard in telling the Aussies and the Americans (Canada and USA) that they are really not wanted as part of the roleplaying aspects of the game.

Three of the events are on weekdays. 2000 GMT is 11am to 3pm, the middle of the work(school)day in North America. 2000 GMT is (if I am calculating correctly) 5am to 8am the next day in Australia, NZ, Japan and Indonesia. If the meetings last an hour or so that puts them into school and work time as well.

I understand that it is not possible for all portions of the globe to be served conveniently at the same time. However, it should be possible to have at least *some* of the events at a time more convenient to the not-close-to-GMT sections of the world.

I agree Bittty. Being on the East coast it is a bit easier for me, but even some days I'm struggling to get home in time for an event that I would really like to take part in and I see my guildies from other parts (Australia and farther west) being disappointed in not being able to make it. It would be nice to switch the times around sometimes. The same thing even happened on the old servers (for the most part).

Never argue with an idiot; they will just drag you down to their level, and beat you with experience.

I cannot but support that. On the other hand, I fear that much of the timing is due to the fact that the majority of active event managers if not all of them are located in CET/GMT lands (this may not completelay apply to the assemblies, granted, yet is valid for any other RP event, and even for participation of EM in assemblies).

Kindly, players in AU, NZ, the Americas, and Asia-Pacific, let apply some of you for event team, to better shape the events for all of the playerhood. I hope that your initiatives will be rewarded. If not, go on complaining about. My wishes are with you.
